Rebbecca Calderwood has been serving family law clients for over two decades. She graduated first in her class and cum laude from Ventura College of Law in 1986. She is a member of the California and Ventura County Bar Associations and has served as a Judge Pro Tempore in the Ventura County Family Law Courts.

Rebbecca has devoted many hours to the study of Collaborative Law and Mediation training, in order to aid parties in the peaceful resolution of their family law issues. Specialized conflict resolution education includes Collaborative Family Law training though Pauline H. Tesler of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, Divorce Mediation Training through the Institute for Dispute Resolution and Pepperdine University School of Law, as well as Divorce Mediation Training through Forrest S. Mosten of Mosten Mediation.

She also holds a lifetime California Community Colleges Teaching Credential in the subject of Law, and is a former board member of the Ventura College Foundation where she focused on addressing the needs of the non-traditional student.

Rebbecca and her husband reside in Ventura. They have two adult children, and two grandchildren. With nearly a quarter century of family law litigation experience, Rebbecca knows that for many families, there is a better way.
